The First International Conference on Marine Mammal Protected Areas is taking place now! The conference is bringing together over 200 MPA managers, scientists, and educators from 40 countries to engage in sessions that provide a forum for sharing information on approaches to marine mammal management and conservation.
The conference is being held from March 30 – April 3, 2009 at the Grand Wailea Resort in Maui, Hawaii, USA.
